ECIT Acquires Competensum AB, Strengthening Its Offering in HR & Payroll Services
On January 29, 2025, ECIT AS announced that Competensum AB will join the ECIT group. Competensum AB, which provides HR and payroll services to its clients, will now enhance ECIT’s offerings in these critical areas. The acquisition also reinforces ECIT’s presence in Helsingborg, a key strategic location for the company in Sweden.
ECIT has acquired 82.5% of Competensum’s shares. Founders Ann-Sofi Aru and Camilla Danielsson will remain as minority shareholders and continue in their respective roles at Competensum.

In addition to strengthening ECIT’s payroll and HR service offerings, the acquisition also significantly expands ECIT’s presence in Helsingborg, further solidifying its position in key regional markets in Sweden.
