ASSA ABLOY, a global leader in access solutions, has announced the acquisition of Pedestal PRO, an American manufacturer specializing in access control pedestals, bollards, and innovative mounting solutions.

Pedestal PRO, established in 2002, is known for its innovative integration of design, architecture, and access control technology. The company’s product range enhances ASSA ABLOY’s portfolio of electromechanical solutions and solidifies its position as a trusted partner for access control manufacturers, system integrators, and security specialists.

“Pedestal PRO’s portfolio is a great addition to our offering in the Americas,” said Lucas Boselli, Executive Vice President and Head of ASSA ABLOY Americas. “Their expertise and product solutions strengthen our ability to provide advanced access control systems across the region.”

Based in Lindon, Utah, Pedestal PRO employs approximately 50 people and posted 2024 sales of around SEK 120 million (USD 11 million), with a strong EBIT margin. The acquisition is expected to have a positive impact on earnings per share from day one.
